Current Community Concerns
We are asking the City of Escondido to:
- Pause MOU and lease consideration until environmental review is complete.
- Listen to the public opinion of ESCONDIDO Residents
- Release all project-related public records (FIOA)
- Require full CEQA analysis before any binding commitment (lease).
- Preserve the no-project alternative.
- Protect existing public recreation uses at Kit Carson Park & Ryan Park.
- Hold meaningful community meetings before major decisions are made.
- Fully analyze traffic, parking, public safety, biological, flood, utility, and financial impacts.
- Ensure public land remains accountable to the public.

- Environmental Impact Review
- Flood Plain Review
- Liaisons to connect with local groups
We also need everyday passionate people to amplify the challenges of this project site location.
